We develop hockey players skating, stick handling, passing & shooting in the stride, and goaltending skills at AKHockey. At AKHockey we utilize the best training techniques both on the ice, and off at our Skatemill and Skills Centre located at the Capital News Centre in Kelowna BC.On-Ice sessions are directed by Head Skating and Skills Coach Aaron Konecsni. Aaron Konecsni is the skating coach for Vancouver Canucks Prospects, Hockey Canada Skills Academy, Kelowna Rockets, BC Hockey and others in his International and Okanagan Hockey Camps. Aaron is joined on the ice by Derek Strukoff, who has worked together with Aaron for the past 9 years, helping him develop the world's first skating treadmill video program specific for hockey players.All Skatemill sessions are ran by AKHockey certified instructors on one of the world's largest and fastest skating treadmills! Players are able to receive instant feedback through the use of our video software and one-on-one coaching while skating on the treadmill.Goaltending sessions are ran by Jordon Cooke of the WHL's Kelowna Rockets. Jordon was the WHL goaltender of the Month in December 2012 and was named to 2nd team all-star for the WHL western conference this recent season.
