DigiPen Institute of Technology is a private college located in Redmond, Washington, dedicated to preparing students for careers in game development, animation, and other technology industries. With the introduction of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation in 1996, DigiPen became the first school in the world to offer a four-year degree program dedicated to the practice and profession of video game programming. Today, DigiPen offers additional degree programs in digital art and animation, music and sound design, computer science, and game design, as well as master’s degree programs in computer science and digital art. The college maintains two international campuses in Singapore and Bilbao, Spain.
