Women is an interview based online magazine dedicated to revealing women as who they are, in their own words, in an effort to redefine how women are portrayed in society. Women is a reflection of how those that identify as a female explore and appreciate their fierce abilities.In each issue, Women will take essays from contributors all over the world to explore issues and intersectionality on sexuality, race, politics, etc. Each issue will showcase authentic women in various professions (musicians, authors, actors, athletes, etc) in the public eye. Women obtains real photos from our interviewees and contributors in an effort to display them as human and relatable. We don't subscribe to the need to be/look cool, we encourage women to be/look like themselves. We don't allow comments on our website. We encourage commentary face to face because the desensitization of our society is concerning us. We have big plans in the works, however, we're starting small and building ourselves up. We are open to growing and changing as the world around us does, but we promise to never yield our integrity or our vision. We are not beholden to advertisers or special interest groups. We are dedicated to smashing the patriarchy, and through our efforts alongside our allies - we hope to work ourselves out of jobs someday.
