Tech companies are founded in basements, your favorite band first jammed in a garage and WiesMade was born in a barn.Our barn, aka HQ, is situated near the rugged coast of northern California and the saltwater lifestyle we grew up with guides our decision-making process. From sustainable manufacturing to durability, our passion for better things without compromise drives us in everything we do. We have scoured the land (literally), from knit shops to Mom and Pop cut & sew facilities and sheep farms, to bring you the best fabrics and raw materials. With these fabrics and our modified designs, we partner with craft factories here in CA for all cut & sew. The goal of our process is responsibly made goods that not only look and function well but also last.Working 20 years in apparel and being disappointed with the level of quality in fabric, fit, durability and environmental/human standards in manufacturing, we started WiesMade. Taking our library of best basics, we started tweaking fits and substituting in better fabrics, like hemp, recycled poly and organic wool. Our focus on sustainability, durability and fit are what drives our construction and fabric decisions. Through this process we have found lots of opportunities to do better.We believe personal style/fashion comes from well-made pieces that fit your lifestyle.
