The CMMC Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB) is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Maryland with federal income tax exemption pending as of 02/16/2021 and implements the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification first published by the U.S. Department of Defense in January, 2020.
