Abbotsford Primary School is an internationally recognised Chinese/English bilingual school, located in the diverse and vibrant inner suburb of Abbotsford. Our school attracts both students from the local area and beyond, including international students from overseas.Being a bilingual school, our students undertake 50% of their learning in Chinese and 50% of their learning in English, developing a passion for language learning and a deep understanding of different cultures. Chinese and English are taught every day of the school week, along with a comprehensive learning program that includes Maths, Science, Integrated Studies, Visual Arts, Performing Arts/Music, and Physical Education.Our students learn in a supportive and caring environment.We place utmost importance on developing a three-way partnership between teachers, students, and parents to ensure the best learning outcomes and opportunities for success for every student. We are a leading school for the Respectful Relationships initiative, and our approach to student wellbeing is further also complemented by an Art Therapy program and various customised support services provided.
