Mr. Roses scours the globe to source the finest equatorial growers of roses. Usually, the best roses are found at least 8,000 feet above sea level, in countries like Ecuador, Colombia, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Here, they are exposed to the perfect sunlight and temperature, resulting in the finest largest headed roses on the planet.Our florists finish each rose by hand, removing thorns and carefully plucking guard petals away to ensure each rose is looking its best. To ensure longevity, we cut the stem at an angle to help with water absorption. Plus, each stem has its own water sachet filled with pure New Zealand water. We also provide you with flower food, so that the roses last longer than any other roses and look more beautiful.Our Australian-born founder, James Stevens, has lived and breathed roses from the day he was born. As a child, he would visit the vibrant flower markets with his father, selecting stock for the family floristry business.He watched his father bring joy and excitement to millions of people with flowers, and he knew this was what he wanted to do.
