Alzheimers Auckland is a not-for-profit organisation.We provide services to meet the needs of all people with dementia, their carers, family, friends and whanau.Based in Royal Oak, our team is passionate about and committed to empowering and enabling all people in Auckland affected by dementia. Alzheimers and other dementias can be a very isolating and distressing disease, and it is extremely important that people realise they don't have to do it alone! Alzheimers Auckland Inc was founded in 1985 by a group of carers who identified the need for common support. In 2011 Alzheimers Auckland Inc and Alzheimers Counties Manukau Inc merged to form Alzheimers Auckland Charitable Trust. Over the last 26 years, the organisation has grown along with demand, and developed services that are directly aligned with community need.
