MARSCare was founded in 1984 by Gerald Szucs, Ph.D. Dr. Szucs is a past Assistant Secretary of Health, Office of the Secretary, H.E.W. in Washington D.C. The original Company was known as Mid Atlantic Rehabilitation Services—hence the acronym, MARS. MARS started as a staffing agency for Physical and Occupational Therapists.Over the years, Dr. Szucs expanded MARS to include three distinct programs.
