The 45,000 sqft virtual cGMP facility is the first FutureFacility™ built in collaboration with CRB and designed around the ballroom concept. We provide training and demonstration on cutting edge equipment and technologies, such as single use and continuous processing, alongside industry standards like the basics of aseptic processing. Open Biopharma aims to test the newest technologies and pioneer platforms that represent the future of biomanufacturing. We aim to generate real-life manufacturing data in a virtual cGMP environment that can accelerate the acceptance of new technologies by the industry and by regulatory authorities. We provide a unique "sandbox" that allows our partners to "test-drive" the newest biomanufacturing methodologies and equipment. Our unique open platform allows for different equipment from multiple vendors to be tested together in our "Sandbox" ballrooms. The Open, in Open Biopharma, also means that we evaluate, demo and train on any equipment that has an impact on reducing the cost of biomanufacturing or addresses the manufacturing needs of novel therapeutics.Open Biopharma partners with leading industry organizations, like the PDA, ISPE, and other life science industry members. We focus on providing hands-on training in a real life cGMP production environment.
