Water4Life Global is a nonprofit humanitarian organization based in California and working on the ground in Guatemala, devoted to providing solutions to the current water issues that Guatemalan families face every day. By distributing long-lasting, household water filtration technology to those most in need, we are providing an immediate solution for their contaminated water sources. Each $35 Village Water Filter we provide has a five to eight-year life span and can provide 500,000 gallons of clean potable water. This grants hundreds of families access to clean drinking water for years to come, avoiding disease, malnutrition, and economic damage to many communities. The organization gained 501(c)3 status in November 2019 to combat the current water crisis in Guatemala by supplying household water filtration systems. Since its inception, the project has expanded to become a collaborative water initiative with a goal to provide long-term water solutions and educational components, in addition to the distribution of water filters. In addition to providing clean water technology, we are focused on expanding an education program to empower local leaders to share the environmental and health impacts clean water has on these regions. By connecting with and empowering Guatemalans, we can help provide families with the essence of life: clean water. The greater vision of Water4Life Global is nothing less than the availability of clean drinking water for all of humanity. We envision a world free of water transmitted diseases, water-toxins, induced malnutrition, and environmental damage.
