Located in southeastern Minnesota, along the Mississippi River, Goodhue County's landscape is adorned by bluffs and water which offer its residents both recreation and beauty. Goodhue County encompasses 764 square miles which includes ten cities, twenty one townships, and is home to an estimated 46,464 residents. Nearly all of the Prairie Island Indian Community is located within Goodhue County.A rich sense of culture is displayed through art and theatre, as well as the many historical landmarks throughout the area.
