The Brock Press is the independent, weekly newspaper at Brock University. The Brock Press started out with a single page issue in September of 1964, the same month and year Brock University officially opened. Originally a part of the Brock University Students' Union, the newspaper became a fully incorporated not-for-profit company in 2009. Though written and produced for students by students, The Brock Press is much more than a student newspaper. By establishing and maintaining relationships with many of the businesses and community organizations of the Niagara Region The Brock Press has established itself as a trusted and accessible community newspaper that focuses not only on the school it serves, but also the community it resides in.
