SMK Negeri 57 Jakarta is the first public vocational high school in Indonesia, which is engaged in tourism. Initially this school was called SMKK Negeri 1 Jakarta, later changed to SMIP 1 Jakarta, and in 1997 it changed its name to SMK Negeri 57 Jakarta in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture, Number 036/0/1997 which has three expertise programs, namely; Travel Business, Hospitality Accommodation and F&B Services/Restaurant. Along with its development—since 2012—SMK Negeri 57 has added two expertise programs, namely Dance and Karawitan Arts.Vision:To become a tourism education and training institution with a global perspective, national cultural roots and environmental awareness.Mission:1. To produce professional, faithful, pious and noble graduates.2. Developing education that has a national perspective and is highly competitive.3.
