BioVale promotes the development of Yorkshire and the Humber as an international centre for bioeconomy research and development. A successful BioVale will catalyse environmentally and socially sustainable growth and attract inward investment to the area.BioVale's Steering Group includes representatives from:Drax, Croda, AG Agri, Precision Decisions, Brocklesby Ltd, the Stockbridge Technology Centre and Ripplewood, as well as the University of York, the Biorenewables Development Centre (BDC) and the City of York Council (CYC)BioVale receives support from:Askham Bryan College, the BDC, the Food and Environment Research Agency, the CYC, the Humber LEP, the Leeds City Region LEP, Science City York, the University of York, the White Rose University Consortium, the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding LEP and the Yorkshire Universities Technical Assistance Project.BioVale is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund Programme (2014-2020) and Research England.
