Institut Teknologi dan Sains Bandung (ITSB) is a manifestation of cooperation between Sinar Mas Group, Institut Teknologi Bandung, and Bekasi District Government. Third-party co-operation was signed on July 3, 2007.ITSB with the vision of Eco-Industry Oriented University vowed to produce graduates capable of working in the field and directed to be able to meet the needs of society in the era of industrialization, globalization, regional autonomy, and national development that progress quite rapidly. In addition, as part of the Sinar Mas Group, students graduated from ITSB is also expected to have appropriate competence required by Sinarmas business pillars.ITSB currently stands, sustained by 8 (eight) undergraduate and three (3) courses diploma, with two of them had a special scholarship program and working ties in cooperation with PT. Smart Tbk., And PT. Asia Pulp Paper. In addition, ITSB is also supported by the provision of scholarships from Eka Tjipta Foundation, Sinar Mas Land, and ITSB own scholarship to help students that have limited financial capabilities in education.ITSB campus was designed based on the concept of environmentally friendly according to the principles of ecological adequate green open spaces, so as to provide comfort for campus activities. Campus building designed as a Green Building which meets the requirements and rating are formulated based on cooperation between ITSB with the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI), is in the integrated area of Deltamas city, in which there are industrial areas, residential, office, and commercial. ITSB with the concept of Eco-Industry Oriented University is expected to give contributions to the development of surrounding territories in particular, and made widely available for the development of Indonesia.
