After working for 20 years in the cosmetics industry, as marketing executive and environmental advocate, I decided to make some big changes! I started "MaGéAu Naturel", a skin care company that gives binary and non binary people of all skin tone access to high-end skin care without adding more waste to the environment.I set out to provide the best quality, sustainably sourced, green packaged skin care brand! Having in mind ALL individuals and ALL skin tones. Consider this: the global cosmetics industry has been using 120 times more cosmetics packaging than in 1960! That means single-use face masks, shampoo bottles, lipstick cases, etc! All of that non-reusable packaging has to go somewhere - and I do not want it to go into a landfill. Let's be honest, in the current market, there are no perfect options, alternatives or solutions to this issue! However, I believe skin care packaging should be designed with the circular economy in mind, prioritizing plastic-free, reusable packaging.
