This volunteering group was formally established in July 2017. We are running under Indonesian Catholic Community of B.C. (UKIBC), a society that was established back in 1991. Although UKIBC has been established for more than 25 years, there was no group that focuses on children of age 3-9. The founder acknowledged the need to engage with children to build a sense of belonging to UKIBC at an early age. By building a continuous engagement, the children would be more inclined to stay in our community; hence, sustaining UKIBC in the long run. For that reason, our Sunday School program was finally established.
