Solid Ground combines direct services with advocacy to meet basic needs, nurture success, and spread change. By amplifying the voices of people experiencing poverty throughout the political process, we further social justice and support our entire community in reaching its fullest potential. Each Year more than 65,000 King County residents engage with Solid Ground to address their urgent food, housing & transportation needs, while changing the institutional practices & policies that perpetuate poverty.
