WHO WE ARE:Collectives for Arts Music & Dance produces and performs traditional and contemporary works for the stage, and produces cultural digital content, from an aesthetic that reflects social realities in a global context. We preserve, promote, and celebrate traditions. The Collectives for Arts Music & Dance also serves as a home to our students. New members are met with love and friendship from fellow members, and with the guidance of founder and creative director, we inject our students with hope and a plethora of possibilities for them to reach their potential and have their dreams come true. We believe in our core value that we can change the course of humanity, one individual at a time, thorough arts, music, and dance.WHAT WE DO:We connect youth to their roots, through its arts-in-education program, while strengthening their sense of pride and identity through cultural conversations, workshops, and training. Our program structure helps students build social intelligence, self-awareness, confidence, and exercise self-control. WHO WE SERVE: Our constituency is a multilingual and interdisciplinary community that includes Latinos from Urban and Rural communities. As we have created a network of local artists whom we partner with, to bring a rich variety of cultural programming that recognizes and celebrates the diversity of communities in the Bronx and Northern Manhattan.
