OSH India 2014 in Mumbai will this year too, bring together internationally renowned exhibitors, consultants, business experts and key government officials on one common platform, to discuss global best practices and seek solutions to some of the most pressing challenges in workplace safety and health. After the phenomenal success of the last two editions in Mumbai in 2012 and 2013, the need to hold an event of this stature in South India was expressed by the industry. Accordingly, the maiden show in South India had over 50+ international and national brands and 2800+ industry professionals over the two day show with participation of 15 trade associations supporting OSH Chennai. OSH India, last year in Mumbai saw the participation from over 70 exhibitors, 150 delegates and support from key associations such as DISH Maharashtra, National Safety Council, Gujarat Safety Council, Oil Industry Safety Directorate, IOSH and British Safety Council. Enthusiastic participation from exhibitors like Draeger Honeywell, Lakeland, Ansell, Mallcom, NTT Data, BATA India, Marvel Gloves, Perfect Safety Instruments amongst others reaffirmed the right direction in which OSH India is heading. OSH India 2013 also recognised the heroes in real life, presenting the OSH Safety Hero Awards to heroes from organisations, for their bravery, common sense and quick wit in averting critical disasters at their workplaces.
