تأسس المركز العربي للأوريجامي في الإسكندرية عام ٢٠١١، ويعمل من خلال استخدام الأوريجامي كوسيلة تفاعلية لتطوير التعليم والمجتمع. يعمل المركز من خلال توفير التدريب والإنتاج، ويستهدف المعلمين والأطفال والنساء من خلفيات اجتماعية مختلفة.حيث نستخدم فن الأوريجامى كأحد أهم الأدوات التفاعلية فى عملية التعليم والإبداع الفنى والتنمية المجتمعية للمساهمة فى صناعة مواطنين فعَّالين يجدون حلولًا إبداعية لحياتهم اليومية.The Arab Origami Center (AOC) was founded in 2011 in Alexandria, Egypt, using origami as an interactive tool for education improvement and community development. The Arab Origami Center works through training and production, targeting teachers, children and women from different social segments.As we are using origami as the main interactive tool in education transformation, artistic creativity and social development to contribute to creating proactive and critical-thinking citizens that find new and creative solutions to ease their daily lives.
