We are a business incubator for women in emerging parts of the world that utilizes trauma healing as a crucial mechanism in accelerating sustainable and viable ventures. Our goal is to usher in a new school of leaders and insightfully engaged, impactful and profitable founding teams & enterprises.Women of color are powering the economies and starting businesses to a greater degree than their counterparts-both gender and culturally speaking. For example, Black women in America, and Black women in Sub-Saharan Africa make up some of the highest rates of entrepreneurial activity in the world. Coincidentally their exposure to trauma in the form of intimate partner violence (IPV), sexual abuse, mental & monetary abuse, and general crimes against them are also higher than their counterparts. By leveraging trauma healing as a unique catalyst to not only incubate more sustainable ventures, we are also supporting the positioning of more holistic leaders as they are on track to make up a majority of our economic drivers in the next 5 years.Overall women of color lack support when it comes to the incubation and funding of their businesses. We see the gap in incubation to the existing, overwhelming driving trend of women of color entrepreneurs as an opportunity to catapult an already mobilised sector of the global startup space. By doing so, we believe this more than any "philanthropic or development endeavours," will be the single most important investment into the future.
