Someone said it takes an entire village to raise a child. Here at LaPoynor ISD, we as teachers and administrators, are glad to embrace that concept and are indeed a part of the village. The pride that community feels for our schools is evident everywhere, and the sense of tradition and higher standards are well established. We understand that for some children, "we are the only advantage that some children will ever have to overcome their disadvantage". This is a challenge that we accept wholeheartedly. We invite you to come to our schools, see exceptional teaching in action and then stay to volunteer to be a part of raising a child in this village.
