Established in 1974, Pamoja Art Society is a community-based organization that strives to stimulate the cultural development of Shreveport and its surrounding communities by presenting arts programs that feature Black American artists, as well as creative and cultural traditions. The goal is to provide a platform to showcase the talents of all fine arts craftsmen while encouraging the production of creative works. Pamoja successfully accomplishes these objectives through its programming at the Pamoja Cultural Arts Center located at 3806 Linwood Avenue in Shreveport, Louisiana and through in Pamoja's Executive Headquarters located in Allendale.
