Robotiz3d is a technology spin-off from the University of Liverpool, and is a join venture between the University of Liverpool and a2e Industries, together with its co-founders Dr Paolo Paoletti (CTO), Dr Sebastiano Fichera (Technical Director), and Ms Lisa Layzell (CEO). With a goal to bring robotics and automation to the construction industry, the long term vision of Robotiz3d sees swarms of completely autonomous vehicles capable of manufacturing, inspecting and maintaining buildings and large infrastructures. In the shorter term, Robotiz3d is developing a high-tech road maintenance vehicle capable of alleviating the pothole problem.
