Working between her native Chennai, India and New York, Suchi Reddy founded her international practice Reddymade Architecture and Design in 2002 in New York City. With a decade of experience in major cultural and retail projects for well renowned firms and projects such as the Drawings and Prints Department of the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, and Ferragamo stores worldwide under her belt, she brings her skill with projects of all scales to the work of her own award winning architecture and design practice.Reddymade projects, whether they are large residential projects for high profile clients or micro living habitats are always centered on material and spatial innovation. A champion of Indian contemporary art, Suchi has written about art and design for Indian and national audiences. Current projects include several high end residences in New York City, a modern modular home in Beverly Hills, a modern house in Venice California, a 264-unit condominium project in Florida, and the completion of a midrise mixed-use building in Reddy's native Chennai, with a kinetic rain screen façade. Reddymade is honored to have been shortlisted for a 60-million-dollar project for the NoVo foundation as part of The Devi Group.Always imaginative, and often art-filled, these distinctive projects have garnered Reddymade numerous awards and features in a host of prestigious publications, including the New York Times, Architectural Record, The Wall Street Journal, Interior Design, Dwell, New York Magazine, 1st Dibs, AD India, Platform, Vogue India, Elle, Casa and Inside Outside. Two years in a row, the studio's work has been nominated for Interior Design's Best of Year award.
