Eco-tech Ceram (ETC) is a Young Innovative Company resulting from the work of the PROMES research laboratory (CNRS / UPVD). The company markets EcoStock, an innovative, environmentally friendly and cost-effective high-temperature heat storage solution. The EcoStock is a rechargeable heat battery the size of a container, composed of ceramics from the recycling of residual materials and which allows: 1. to improve the energy efficiency of industries by recovering their lost heat, 2. to increase the competitiveness of renewable energies by storing the surplus energy produced outside peak consumption periods. The stored energy is then recovered in the form of heat or low-carbon, low-cost electricity. ETC was awarded the World Innovation Competition in 2014 and 2015. It was present at COP21 and COP22 and is a candidate for the European H2020 programme. In parallel, ETC offers expertise in the recovery of waste in ceramic form. The aim is to assess the technical and economic feasibility of creating industrial waste recovery chains, in a systemic approach of Circular Economy.
