UPC was formed in 2012 as a result of the merger of Furnace Controls Corp. (USA), Marathon Monitors Inc. (USA), and Waukee Engineering Company Inc. (USA). In 2017 UPC added to its portfolio of flow control and furnace control solutions with the acquisition of Atmosphere Engineering Company. In 2018, our European affiliate Process-Electronic with operations in France, Germany, and Poland officially changed its name to United Process Controls, consistent with the group's company name strategy. UPC and its Chinese affiliate – Marathon Monitors and Control Systems Corporation (Beijing), Limited China – operate nine sales and manufacturing facilities in seven countries with approximately 120 employees. UPC's commitment is to service the thermal processing industry, helping both furnace OEMs and equipment end users make their business more profitable.
