ARTISTI is a Canadian licensing body established in 1997 to protect, promote and preserve the rights granted to performers by the Copyright Act.In this capacity, ARTISTI collectively manages the right to equitable remuneration and the right to remuneration ensuing from the private copying regime.Moreover, since 2008, ARTISTI has been providing its members with the option to have it manage their exclusive reproduction rights for certain reproductions of their performances and, since 2015, to have it manage their complete set of exclusive rights.ARTISTI's Board of Directors is made up of eleven performers, including backup singers and musicians.
