My vision is for a world where people with Autism, ADHD and other neurodiversity are accepted, integrated, and recognised as valued members of society. I work with individuals, schools, and workplaces to remove prejudices and misconceptions around neurodiversity and replace ignorance with compassionate understanding.As a mother of two neurodiverse boys, I learnt very quickly that the neurotypical system wasn't always there to support them. Advocating for them became my responsibility. They have moved schools' multiple times to find the place that was right for them. I have had awkward meetings with schools and difficult conversations with my boys. But it was all worth it.As they have grown to be the wonderful young adults they are, so too has my knowledge of neurodiversity, and my passion to keep working towards a more inclusive world.I created Social Living Solutions to fill the service provision gap by providing a custom support service or coaching, that can be there with you or your children to achieve your unique goals. It was a service I needed, that didn't exist yet. Now it has expanded to provide training to schools and workplaces furthering my mission to reduce prejudice and increase understanding of neurodiversity.Through my work with families I have also created a wholistic Family Joy Program to support families with neurodiverse children to relieve stress and anxiety, and create happiness, better family balance, and joy.You can find me as co-host of the Nurturing Neurodiversity Podcast and I am currently writing a book to be published in early 2022.
