MAREAL is a French structural engineering company operating in the Marine Renewables Energies, offshore O&G and Civil Engineering – We provide design and analyses from conceptual to detailed design for all types of offshore structures (Monopiles; Jackets, Topsides, Gravity based structures, Offshore substations). Our current projects involve a partnership with COWI on EDF Renewables offshore wind farm Saint Nazaire in France. We have also been working with GE Renewable Energy, conducting studies on the development of optimized foundations for the Haliade X – 12MW turbine. As for floating offshore wind, MAREAL continues to develop its own technology, XCF (X-Shaped Concrete Floater). XCF is a semi-submersible predominantly made of concrete, adapted to 12MW+ turbines. MAREAL is a certified Research Organisation by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation; and is certified ISO 9001:2015.
