The American Heritage Museum is an immersive exploration on the roles of technology, the citizen soldier, and the human spirit in American conflicts from the Revolutionary War through the present day. The museum features major exhibits on World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, and the War on Terror (Iraq & Afghanistan) and contains over 95 rare tanks, military vehicles, and large artifacts on display in a 65,000 square foot facility.Many artifacts are one-of-a-kind or the only one of it's type on display in North America. Such artifacts include: US Marine Corps M1A1 Abrams (Modern), German Panther V Tank (WWII), German SdKfz 222 Armored Vehicle (WWII), British Matilda MK.II Tank (WWII), M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo Tank (WWII), Russian IS-2 Heavy Tank (WWII), Iraqi SCUD Missile and MAZ-7310 Launcher (Gulf War), and Japanese Type 4 Ho-Ro Self-Propelled Howitzer (WWII). The American Heritage Museum features many immersive multimedia presentations including a World War One trench simulation. An amazing educational experience for visitors of all ages and families.
