The Greater Kalamazoo United Way (GKUW) has been making a difference in Kalamazoo County for nearly a century. Since then, you've helped us raise more than $199.5 million through our Annual Community Campaign. We remain committed to promoting improvement and growth in Kalamazoo County. From a strong, extensive network, we gather resources and information needed to have a positive effect on the community. In 2008, GKUW raised nearly $9 million, invested in 60 programs administered by 42 member agencies, facilitated direct gifts, led or assisted in administering and securing an additional $6.25 million in funding, provided technical assistance, and organized thousands of community volunteers. GKUW is focused on the building blocks for a good life – a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.GKUW is working to advance the common good in Kalamazoo County.
