Hadrian's Wall Heritage closed in 2012 and became the Hadrian's Wall Trust.\\Prior to 2012 - Hadrian's Wall Heritage is responsible for the management, conservation, protection and communications of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site and is part of the wider International Frontiers of the Roman Emopire World Heritage Site. Hadrian's Wall is the north west Frontier of the Roman Empire. We are responsible for co-ordinating management of the WHS on behalf of the WHS Management Plan Committee; a holistic approach to protection and visitor management; strategic planning for interpretation, access and learning; sustainable tourism development (heritage, landscape, communities, local businesses); and domestic and international destination communications for the Hadrian's Wall Country destination brand.
