ESME was founded in 1905 by Joachim Sudria. The school has been certified by the State since 1922 and is authorized by the "Commission des Titres de l'Ingénieur" (CTI) to award its diploma on behalf of the State. The ESME engineering diploma is a Masters Degree signed by the French Education Ministry.
