We believe we have significant insights in to the Pacific Northwest's consulting community. We have a great sense of where the ‘hidden gems' are and will always refer clients to the resources we think may best suit their need.Sometimes, Big Oak helps organizations which are engaged in a significant procurement of services by connecting them with peers in the business community who may have procured similar services in the recent past and facilitating a discussion, and/or by offering our insights in to who's who and what consultancies are best at what in the PNW. Sometimes we help organizations fill key permanent roles. We are not recruiters and would never charge a fee for a referral, but have often been in the position to refer people in to C, VP, and Director level roles from our extensive network. The Big Oak model is made possible by working on a retainer basis with a carefully curated portfolio of consultancies, and we help each of these firms in a variety of ways with their go-to-market efforts and often by referring them talented resources. Big Oak never accepts a transactional fee of any kind from anyone to whom we refer business, whether within or outside our portfolio of client partners. Over time we are able to refer enough well qualified opportunity to our trusted portfolio firms that our relationships make sense for them.
