As a number of you are already aware I have made the decision to retire as a partner at Yelverton Surgery at the end of June this year having completed 31 years at Yelverton Surgery. I have greatly enjoyed my work here and I will miss the role, the staff and my patients. I had hoped to continue a little longer but I was diagnosed with Parkinsons 4 years ago and it is a slowly progressive condition which makes work a lot more tiring. I look forward to spending more time with my family and in my garden. I will be leaving Yelverton in great shape, it is a wonderful practice with a superb team of doctors, nurses, managers and staff and we have had several very strong candidates apply for my role which will further help the practice to continue to provide exceptionally good patient care and access despite all the pressures on the NHS.
