Since 1959, we have been supplying quality art supplies and office stationery from our retail shop based on Bancroft in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. We are open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm on a Saturday.Our History...LBM was established as Lesley's Business Machine by Douglas Hagger and gained an outstanding reputation in the local area by selling typewriters and office furniture.Quickly the business diversified to sell stationery as well and before long LBM became one of the biggest commercial and retail stationers in Hertfordshire, a position that we still maintain half a century later under the direction of Douglas' son Paul.In 1999 we opened a specialist art store, doubling size of the shop in the process. We are now a knowledgeable art supplies shop selling a full range of artist products from all the leading brands. Our resident artist is always on hand to give expert advice.Our Future...We have always moved with the times and 2010 has seen LBM expand into the virtual world. We started this process by establishing an eBay shop selling our most popular stationery and art products nationwide.
