New Orleans Catholic Cemeteries is a Ministry of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Our Mission Statement: The ministry of the New Orleans Catholic Cemeteries is to provide people of all faiths a graceful and dignified burial in keeping with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to offer pastoral care to the family members and friends of the deceased. In addition to serving our Catholic Community, we maintain the oldest, historic cemeteries in the city of New Orleans. St. Louis Cemetery #1 established 1789 and St. Louis Cemetery #2 established 1823.
