As a busy successful professional working in the corporate world or public sector you may have thought that you were indispensible, (I know that I did). Yet, many people like you and I are realising that in the current economy there is no such thing as a safe job.I'm Graham from Whole Being and we help you take responsibility for your own future.For me, it all started when I was firmly embedded in the corporate world, with all the trappings of success : amex card, expense account, company jag, lots of business travel and a passion for developing people and helping them to fulfill their potential. Yet all the while I dreamed of running my own business, of being my own boss. I was sick of working really hardt. I had to make two people redundant and in that moment I realised that in the corporate world, no job was safe, including my own. A continous thought 'there must be more to life than this' kept flashing up in my mind until one day enough was enough - I realised that life would pass me by if I didn't take massive action. A brave step, a leap of faith, a jump into the unknown knowing that all the while a fulfilled life was much more important than an unfulfilled existence ...as at the same time Claire, my partner had already started her own business, but she wasn't getting enough clients and felt like she was in a silent movie, stuck in a telephone box, unable to escape and no-one could see or hear what she had to offer.So six years ago we formed a business together.
