A Sustainable Agriculture CompanyIn 1993, Pancharatna Group of Industries was started by a multi-disciplinary group of professionals with the sole purpose of providing quality feed in Nepal. Starting with a single feed factory, today, two decades later, Pancharatna Group has established itself as the first and the only full-fledged vertically integrated conglomerate of agriculture and poultry industries in Nepal. Pancharatna's products include poultry, cattle, and pig feed, day-old chicks, eggs, vitamins, vaccines and bio-fertilizer – all produced with the same dedication to quality that marked its inception. In spite of limited government support, Pancharatna Group has contributed substantially to the agricultural sector through a demand driven production system. With a chain of industries containing backward and forward linkages – including feed production, hatcheries, layer farms, fertilizer production, and a pharmaceutical and vaccine trading unit – Pancharatna has been able to mitigate risks to its stakeholders and shareholders. Over the years, Pancharatna has also contributed to the industry through technology innovation as well as shaping of policy.
