Founded on the values and dreams of Late Sh. M R Dass, a renowned academician who was the founder of the society, D C M Schools are today ranked amongst the finest centres for educational learning in Northern India. The first of the series, Decent Children Modern High School was established in Ferozepur Cantonment in the year 1947 just after the mayhem following the partition and unprecedented floods. It was the first English medium school in the Malwa belt of the Punjab based on modern lines of education with most of the faculty drawn from Europe. Since that time over six decades ago, the D C M Schools, while keeping their commitment to world class education, strove hard to reach dazzling heights by taking long strides of progress with great devotion and dedication.
