Our MissionFor Foundation 45, our mission is simple - serve the Dallas/Fort Worth creative community by providing free top-tier mental health and recovery services while working to destigmatize the conversation around mental health. Our BackgroundThe punk DIY ethos is the spirit behind the organization. We are here to amplify the voices of the unheard. Born of the loss of two members of Deep Ellum's hometown heroes, Spector 45, the foundation works to provide full circle support for anyone struggling with their mental health. In our world, what we can't buy, we'll make. What we can't find, we'll create. When a community can't get the support or services its members need, we'll come together to provide it.Our ServicesFoundation 45 offers multiple weekly general support groups through a program called Interlude45. We also offer monthly art therapy, focus groups such as our Women of Color support group, and 10-week curriculum based substance abuse recovery through a program called Remix Recovery: This is for Jordan. All our support groups are by masters level LPCs, and are completely free to attend for Texas residents aged 18+.www.foundation45.orgLive Fast. Die Old.
