Waterloo Geophysics Inc (WGI), incorporated in 1972, is a consultancy providing advice and analysis to those involved in the use and application of shallow geophysical technologies. Our emphasis is on technical quality and innovation.Our experience is utilized by any of stakeholders of a project with a geophysical component:- the regulatory group requiring technical support, - the owner or seeking guidance and understanding, - the prime consultant managing and assessing geophysical work, then applying the interpretation of results, - the contractor/sub-consultant needing peer review or senior input, and- the equipment supplier seeking insights and providing customer support.WGI also provides training and mentoring for developing geophysicists and technologists and with special arrangements acts as a resource to both established or developing geophysical groups.Although most typically, WGI's projects are focused on engineering, hydrogeologic or UXO issues, our experience includes a broad range other applications such as for example mine development or closure, process assessment, infrastructure mapping archaeology and forensic investigations.
