We are rather unique in that we are the only brewery on the entire Australian eastern mainland growing our own malting grain (barley, wheat & rye), harvesting, brewing and packaging all on a single farm location. We are your Aussie owned and made ‘grain to glass' brewery!We commenced commercial production in December 2017, bringing online our bespoke 20hl 6 vessel brew house and canning line. Our canning line is the only one located west of the Blue Mountains in NSW. On the back label of every can you can visually observe the % of our own grain used to create that particular beer and many are 100%. Our beers have a fresh and clean finish on the palate which many believe is due to us brewing with water harvested on farm to brew all our beers with.Our practices continue to evolve, and we become more and more sustainable. Our spent grain after brewing is fed to our sheep whilst no longer nutrient rich it has been a great filler feed and helped us carry more sheep through the drought. We mostly operate off the grid during the day on solar, we repurpose our used hops as fertiliser around the farm and we irrigate our treated wastewater back on to our lucerne paddocks. We even use the ‘seconds' from the canning line with a bad label or dented can to make Pioneer meat pies, very little goes to waste.
