KAY-SON is a proudly Canadian owned fabrication plant that has been in operation since 1965. Located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, we are a supply only structural steel fabricator servicing both the Canadian and US markets. As a single source fabricator, we work closely with our customers to find innovative solutions to complex problems and deal with customer concerns promptly and efficiently. Our company is focused on servicing customers and building strong long-term relationships. Integrity, trust, teamwork, innovation, and safety are at the core of our business. We believe this is the reason why our company has been in business for over 50 years and continues to grow. We are largely a heavy industrial fabricator, with experience in the Bulk Material Handling, Environmental, Mining/Minerals & Oil/Gas, Processing Plants, and Pulp & Paper sectors. Moreover, KAY-SON has fabricated all kinds of steel structures in other sectors such as Commercial, Institutional, Marine and Military. Our varied experience sets KAY-SON apart from our competition. Our shop is quality certified to AISC 201-06 Standard for Steel Building Structures and CWB certified under CSA Standard W47.1 Division 1. All welding conforms to CSA W59.1 Welding Standard and AWS D1.1. Our journeymen maintain both a CWB and AWS welding C ticket Flux-Cored (FCAW/MCAW) and are trained in accordance with KAY-SON's standards and procedures. Our fabrication adheres to CSA, ASME, and AWS codes.
