It is guaranteed to be free of lead, arsenic and other common antique wood contaminants. Our alternative to reclaimed barnwood is intended to replicate actual barn wood, and is nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. It will darken when wet and lighten back to color when dry, and will age gracefully over the years.
