Groves Academy is a nonprofit educational organization working to redefine the way our nation is taught, one student, one teacher, one school at a time. We have a rich history of supporting bright students who struggle with learning disabilities and attention disorders, as well as promoting evidence-based literacy instruction for all.Groves consists of three programs: Our School, The Learning Center, and the Groves Literacy Partnerships(SM). Our school serves students in grades 1-12 who have strong ability and a desire to learn along with dyslexia, ADHD, or other learning challenges. When these students have the opportunity to learn in a different way – with highly trained teachers, small class sizes, and specialized curriculum – they begin to experience success, build confidence, and recognize their full potential. Groves students feel understood and included as part of a community of learners. Since our founding by visionary parents in 1972, the teachers and staff at Groves Academy have helped change the lives of thousands of students. The Learning Center at Groves Academy offers services to families in the community who can benefit from our expertise in diagnosing and supporting individuals with learning disabilities. We give them access to services to help their children experience success and gain confidence. Services include diagnostic testing, tutoring, summer programs, and speech-language therapy.The vision of Groves Academy is to redefine the way our nation is taught, one student, one teacher, and one school at a time. Groves Literacy Partnerships enable us to share our evidence-based teaching methods from our school to advance literacy instruction with other teachers and schools in the community. We work with teachers in partner schools to ensure all students receive literacy instruction based on the science of reading.At Groves, we empower every student to discover their brilliance.
