Having worked for the Local Authority for too long, I took a deep breath and dived head first into the real world.Really fast learning curve to start with (still on it).The idea was to provide design and project management services to schools, which is what happened. Alongside I put my efforts into domestic house extension and even a bit of lecturing. Coming full circle now, I pretty much stick to working in schools, where I feel confident and passionate.I love design and see schools as a blank canvas to provide cost effective contemporary designs.Not sure of the immediate future with school work. Being the optimistic type, I feel the that schools will always have to have money spent on them, and I for that reason will continue to be a part of it.
